- 2025; replaces parts 3, 4, 5 and 7 only. It does not replace parts 1, 2 and 6: parts 1 and 2 were already withdrawn earlier in favour of ISO 41011 and ISO 41012, and EN 15221-6:2011 remains in force. Withdrawal of parts 3, 4, 5 and 7 effective November 2025; national adoption deadline May 2026.

After the May 2026 national adoption deadline, the governing European process standard for FM, explicitly aligned with the ISO 41000 series. CEN/TR 15221-9:2025 is a separate informative report on European measurement practice and is not part of this consolidation.
Why it exists
European FM standardisation had fragmented into separate topics each revised on its own. This standard brings quality, taxonomy, processes and benchmarking together in one document that relates to ISO 41000.
